一般人對於老化難免存有某些根深蒂固的刻板印象,顯例之一即為網路上流傳已久的一則繞口令(以閩南語發音):「站咧無元氣,坐咧就哈戲,倒咧睏抹去,食飽多放屁,無食愛生氣,見講講過去,現講現忘記,出門無地去,要死無勇氣,祗好活下去。」其中「坐咧就哈戲,倒咧睏抹去」指的就是一旦上了年紀,睡眠品質往往跟著惡化。然而,是否真如庶民智慧所言,老化的過程一定免不了睡眠障眠的產生?而睡眠困擾與年長者的身心福祉是否又有任何關聯?
